This 1-Channel 5V Single-Pole Double-Throw (SPDT) AC power relay board operates on a 5V logic input and can switch up to 10 amperes at 250 VAC. It features optocoupler isolation for added protection of sensitive control circuitry. Configuration: In the default state, when the relay is not powered, COMM is connected to NC (Normally Closed). This means any load connected to COMM and NC will remain on when the relay is off. When power is supplied to the relay, COMM will switch to NO (Normally Open), allowing power to flow from the COMM connector to the NO connector, thereby powering your device.
