This is Version # 3W with improved PCB board like all my models (SEE THE NOTES AT THE END OF THIS LISTING) includes a 5 year repair warranty If you have any function issues after the sale, email me !! my info will be in the package Usually the problem it is a bad ground issue. The old controllers can function with a bad or no ground. These will not. Similar board pictured If you have the old model where the joystick handle locks back for float, you will need to modify the clip in the case by bending it or better off, removing it. You may also need one addition part. SOME PLUSSES: My directional switches are waterproof. My main on/off switch uses 4 contacts instead of two so it can handlemore power better .. my power wires are stranded copper instead of tin coated copper and they have teflon coated heat resistant coatings. The Copper traces on my custom made circuit board are wider than the originals which allows them to handle more power. The boards traces are coated with green anti arc and anticorrode sealer- . The wires on this one are longer than the originals. it is around 16". Main power and all solenoids are fuse protected. The float relay has a higher amp rating than the originals. Plug pins are gold plated to reduce the affect of corrosion. They have a dedicated relay for the motor solenoid - This reduces the power going through the up,left and right switches and through the 2 diodes and this will extend the life of all of the switches.
